LED Garage Lighting Case Study

M&T Bank Corporation is a bank holding company headquartered in Buffalo, New York. It operates 780 branches in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Connecticut.

The Problem

M&T Bank was looking for a solution to reduce the energy consumption associated with the existing lighting in their parking garage. Operating 24 hours a day, the customer also wanted to improve the quality of the lighting in the facility for their customers that were utilizing the garage during off hours.

The Solution

  • Replace existing 150w high pressure sodium canopy fixtures with new 66w LED canopy fixtures
  • Replace existing 400w metal halide flood light fixtures on roof deck with new 137w LED flood light fixtures
  • Replace existing 100w high pressure sodium wall pack fixtures with new 20w LED wall pack fixtures
  • Replace existing 250w high pressure sodium wall pack fixtures with new 120w LED wall pack fixtures
  • Repace existing 40w T12 linear fluorescent lamps with 18w LED linear lamps
